went to Caardoso Island, in Cananeia, that is in the south coast of São Paulo. It was amazing! The trip from São Paulo to Cananeia was very long, it took about four hours, but we had a lot of fun, we talked, we watched movies and sang.
Our first stop was in Iguape, a very old city. There we saw Morro do Espia, Valo Grande, a museum, the S.O.S Mata Atlantica, and the church. In the church we went to the miracles room, I didn't like it very much, but it was interesting. Then we went back to the bus to go to Cananeia.
When we arrived there, we went to Golfinho Plaza Hotel.
The weather was very hot, but at night it was cold.
On Cardoso Island we saw beaches, rocky pools, the mangrove and the rainforest. In the rainforest we used a lot of insect repellent. The mangrove was disgusting, but it was nice anyway.
If you want to go to Cardoso Island, you can't forget to take a hat, sun protecion lotion, a raincoat, a jacket, AND NEVER FORGET YOUR INSECT RAPELLENT. Take one liter, if you can!
If you go to the mangrove bring old clothes, because they will get dirty. Bring tennis shoes and confortable clothes, too.
